Libertarians Offer Complaint Forums and Candidate Training

Florida--Interested in serving on a local advisory board? Ever
wanted to be a political candidate? Or just want to share what's on
your mind?
Affiliates of the Libertarian Party of Florida and several
independent Libertarian Clubs are hosting their annual and other
activism meetings across the state in the next 3 months to listen to
the public, discuss local problems, and help people interested in
serving their communities get oriented. All are invited. The state
party is also organizing a conference in Palm Beach in the spring
with nationally known and top local speakers.
The St. Petersburg-Clearwater Libertarian radio show FreedomWorks!
will also take caller questions Tuesdays from 9 PM to 10 PM toll
free from across the state at 1-866-TAN-1340.
MEETING SCHEDULES
Among current meeting schedules in the 'Events' section of Florida

Alachua: 1st Tuesday of the Month at 7 PM
Brevard: 3rd Tuesday of Month at 7 PM
Broward: 2nd Wednesday of the Month at 7 PM
Charlotte: 1st Tuesday of the Month at 6;30 PM
Hillsborough: 2nd Tuesday of the Month at 6:30 PM
Lee: 1st Monday of the Month at 7 PM
Leon: Last Tuesday of the Month at 7:30 PM
Palm Beach: 3rd Monday of the Month at 6 PM
Pinellas: 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the Month at 11 AM and 7 PM
respectively
Pasco: 3rd Tuesday of the Month at 7:30 PM
Sarasota-Manatee: Every Monday at 7 PM
Seminole-Orange: 3rd Saturday of the Month at 8:30 AM

SUCCESSFUL OUTREACH
Libertarians host regular meetings and have good success in past
outreach in terms of inquiries and visibility, say organizers.
Affiliates offer additional activist and other workshops, and
candidate forums, throughout the year. There are over 30
Libertarians in elected and appointed positions in government
throughout Florida.
