Shelley Winters Recovering from Heart Attack

Actress Shelley Winters, 85, is
recovering from a heart attack she had last week. She is expected
to be released from the Los Angeles hospital soon.
"Over the past few days, she has
become much stronger, and Shelley is nearly back to her normal
self," reported David Shane, a spokesman for her agent. "We expect
Shelley to be home in about a week. Her prognosis is excellent."
Shelley Winters is a Two-time
Oscar winner, and have also won Academy Awards. She is well known
for the supporting role in “The Diary of Anne Frank” as well as a
role as the factory girl in the drama “A Place in the Sun”.
Winters debut performance was in
the S.J. Perlman comedy “The Night before Christmas” in 1940. In
1943 she signed a contract with Columbia Pictures as a bit actress,
and wasn’t until 1947 that she got her first big role in “A Double
Life”.
