[Best Syndication] Last night, Britney Spears wouldn’t give up her time with her children and started a 3 hour stand off that ended with her being taken to the hospital as she appeared to be having a mental breakdown. There was a number of reports that said that Spears was under the influence of an unknown substance according to one officier’s report. At one point she locked herself in a room with one of the children. There was no injuries reported. She was strapped to a gurney and taken to Cedars – Sinai hospital for evaluation.

TMZ is reporting that Kevin Federline’s lawyer is off to court to motion the court to remove all of Spears visitation rights with her children. The emergency hearing is going to be at 1:30 and maybe sooner.

Britney Spears is at the Cedars – Sinai Hospital and TMZ said that she is on a 5150 hold which allows a qualified officer or clinician to involuntarily confine a person deemed a danger to herself and/or others. She will remain in lockdown for 72 hours. Us Magazine said that sources told them that nobody at the hospital wanted monitor her last night. Spears father Jamie arrived at 1:10 a.m. at the hospital to see his daughter.

TMZ believes that last night was not related to drugs or alcohol consumption. They say that she is likely suffering from mental problems. However a LAPD Officer Jason Lee was reported by City News Service that Spears seemed to have been under the influence of an unknown substance.

Spears went from shared custody of her children to visitation, then to supervised visitation. Now she may lose all rights to see her children.

NBC Today show had experts analyze Spears last night. They caution that the children may end up becoming a parent substitute because of the fighting between the parents. They suggest that she needs to get sober and get treatment. You can’t make good decisions when she is intoxicated.

They discussed that she has lost custody and has supervised visits with her children. They say maybe she will reach a low point that will get her to regroup her life and fix her problems. Another said that she is probably extremely lonely. She only has interaction with the paparazzi that follow her around and she has been seen possibly dating one.
