Walters on "The View"

No one on the View mentioned Donald Trump by name, but the audience knew who they were talking about. Tuesday there were reports that Rosie O'Donnell screamed at Barbara Walters for not defending her against Donald Trump. Wednesday Barbara Walters stuck up for her co-host.

Rosie O’Donnell said "Well, he's at it again." She was referring to a letter that said Walters indicated that working with O'Donnell on ABC's "The View" is like "living in hell." This is what Trump said Walters told him.

Barbara Walters said under her breathe, “That poor, pathetic man”. The audience cheered with approval. O’Donnell jumped up and high-fived Walters and her co-hosts Joy Behar and Elisabeth Hasselbeck. "You know, he just can't -- he just can't let go, but we're moving on," Walters said.

O’Donnell said "The man is obsessed with me, and I'm happy to say his show tanked." She was refereeing to the lower than expected ratings for the latest edition of Trump's NBC reality show, "The Apprentice."

Trump noted that none of “The View” hosts mentioned his name. He told "The Insider" television show that "They didn't even have the courage to mention me by name. It was sad to see Barbara read her statement off a cue card."
