[Best Syndication] Lindsay Lohan has checked herself into the Malibu Promises Rehab for treatment after Lohan was arrested for driving while intoxicated after she crashed a Mercedes-Benz roadster early Saturday morning.

Lohan was arrested by a Beverly Hills police officer for the suspicion of driving under the influence and they also found what looked like cocaine in the wrecked vehicle. The accident happened supposedly, when Lohan was driving the car with two other passengers riding along. The vehicle got out of control and jumped the curb on Sunset Boulevard near Foothill road at around 5:15 am on Saturday.

The car was damaged, and some bushes got smashed. CBS news reports that Lohan’s bodyguard arrived at the accident to drive the damaged vehicle away before the police arrived.

There was a 911 call that was placed that was for a one car hit and run, where the police responded to, and arrested Lohan at the Century City Hospital where her friends took her after the accident. Lohan was treated for minor injuries and released from the hospital, no one else was injured in the accident.

According to TMZ, Lohan was driven by her lawyer, Blair Berk, to Malibu Promises Rehab this Monday. In their report, a source said that she will be in for "a serious medical treatment program," and will be a resident for perhaps 30 days. She will then have a long outpatient treatment program to attend for a much longer time period.

This is not the first time that Lohan, 20, has been in rehab. She spent 30 days in rehab at Wonderland Center in Laurel Canyon back in January and February of this year. At the time, she told Allure magazine that she didn’t think of herself as an addict.

Lohan has her arraignment scheduled for August 24th. There have been rumors that she was to begin filming a movie called, “Poor Things” which is produced and starring, Shirley MacLaine. Since this weekend, they are not acknowledging that Lohan was going to star in this movie, and are still casting the role.
