(Best Syndication) The divorce was finalized between Britney Spears and Kevin Federline today with the former couple agreeing to a settlement. In the final agreement, the two will share custody 50/50 even after the crazy antics over the weekend in Las Vegas when Britney’s body guard got into a fight with paparazzi.

The couple appeared in the Los Angeles courtroom of Commissioner Scott Gordon according to People magazine. "I think she's okay with the terms," Spears's lawyer, Laura Wasser, said after the hearing. "I think both of them would prefer to have more custody, and that can be worked out down the line."

And there is money involved in this case. According to the TMZ tabloid website K-Fed will get $15 thousand a month in child support and $20 thousand a month in spousal support. This was based on a prenuptial agreement, “and it appears the alimony gravy train will come to a screeching halt in November”.

According to TMZ a 50/50 custody agreement is “typically reserved for a stable couple,” not Britney’s craziness, which included wild partying, erratic behavior and a stint in rehab. The child custody order was tentatively sealed, pending an Aug. 14 hearing, according to "Extra".

But it may not be over. Neither Britney nor Fed-Ex are happy with the custody arrangement, and either can go back to court to try to change it. Since Kevin wont speak to his ex-wife, any child rearing decisions will likely end up back in court.

There are reports that K-Fed will go to court as early as this week to get full custody. It sounds as if he is torn. Even though he signed the custody agreement on Monday, he may not be ready for all-out war either.

Back on November 7th 2006 Spears filed for divorce from her former backup stage dancer, K-Fed. The divorce filing of irreconcilable differences "caught Kevin totally by surprise." Back on March 29, 2007, Spears and Federline reached a settlement, but K-Fed had resisted signing the final agreement supposedly because of Spears’ partying.
