Vanity Fair Produces First Photos of Baby Suri – Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes Provide Magazine with Interview »

Not to be outdone by the President’s Speech today, Tom Cruise provided evidence that his baby Suri exists. Images of the baby can be found on the cover and inside today’s issue of Vanity Fair magazine.

There are 22 pages of photos inside Vanity Fair, according to the magazine. There is also evidence that Katie Holmes has read previous reports concerning her baby. “It's really frustrating the amount of shit that's out there," she acknowledges. “And the stuff they say about Suri?! You shouldn't say that about us, and you can't say that about my child."

Katie says the press reports affect here. The gossip “eats away at me because it's just not O.K.," but that she keeps up on it because "this is my future. This is my family, and I care so much about them. To see how someone as caring and good as Tom is—to see how things can just get so twisted and turned around. I mean, where does it come from?"

Some reports suggested that baby Suri may have been hidden from the public-eye because there was a physical problem. Those that have seen the baby, including Leah Remini, Jada Pinkett Smith and Penélope Cruz have insisted that the Cruise’s baby was healthy and beautiful.

After Suri was born, there were reports that photographs would be auctioned off similar to the way Brad and Angelina’s baby pictures were. But days later, May 11th, before the bidding was to begin representatives told the agencies that the “the baby shoot is on hold for now. There is no additional info as to when this may happen or if it will even happen at all.”

Concerning today’s photo release, Cruise said "It seemed only natural to have Annie (Leibovitz) take the first public photographs of Suri. Annie is the only professional photographer who ever shot Bella and Connor as children."
