Foul Play may have been involved in the death of Anna Nicole Smiths son Daniel, according to a private forensic pathologist hired by the reality TV star to perform the second autopsy. Smith hired Cyril Wecht, who gained fame as a critic of the government’s probe into the John F. Kennedy's assassination and as a consultant in the investigation of Elvis Presley's death.

According to a report from the Associated Press, Daniel “was delighted. He was happy to be there with his mother and his sister." The coroner in the first autopsy said there was no evidence of “suicidal overdose”.

Although Daniel was prescribed anti-depressants in the United States, both coroners / forensic pathologists are waiting for toxicology tests before making any determination. Both say the death was suspicious. Wecht has ruled-out several natural causes for Daniel’s death including heart disease, stroke or a "congenital anomaly."

A report from CBS News indicates that Wecht has also asked to see Daniel’s medical records form the States. A psychiatrist prescribed the 20 year old anti-depressant medication six weeks before his death, but according to the report, the dosage was "quite low" and that the depression "had to do with a girlfriend."

The report points towards foul play. Commenting in Nassau on Sunday after doing a second autopsy on Daniel Smith, Wecht affirmed findings by Bahamas investigators that foul play does appear to be involved in the death.
