Google has new Code Search for Programmers looking for Snippets

If you have every been in search for programming code snippets and you wade through several websites to locate the code, you might find a bit of relief to search Google’s newly launched Code Search which is currently found under Google Labs.

You can search the whole web for code and it code get you closer to finishing your programming. At this time the code is from the whole web, which means the code could be wrong.

Other sites to check out are Koders.com and Krugle.com to search for code. Koders is strictly a code search, while Krugle also gives some links related sites that have forum or groups posting.

A rating score for if the code works or not would be helpful. In addition the tutorial or step by step is not included in the search at this time.

Code Snippet databases are also another source to find reliable code. They often have tutorial related to the programming language.

Since Google’s Code search is new, it will probably see a few revisions as time goes on, but it is nice to have another way to find programming code and help.
