[Best Syndication News] They did a combination results show with a performance night on ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ They start by announcing who is safe and they followed with them dancing. They announced Jeffery Ross got voted off ‘Dancing with the Stars’at the very end of the show. He had an eye injury from the dance which probably didn’t help him. He took it all in stride.
First up are Lance Bass and Lacey Schwimmer dancing a quickstep. He did pretty good, it was good technically with the footwork but seemed kind of like it got kind of boring to watch along the way. Judge Len said that he moved well around the floor, but he didn’t like the posture or hold and it wasn’t his cup of tea. Judge Bruno said that they are incredible and they are great performers and he liked it. Judge Carrie Ann liked it but she wasn’t impressed. She wanted to see more elegance in ballroom dancing. Judges Scores: 7, 6, 8 = 21.

Next to up to dance are Misty May-Treanor and Maksim Chmerkovskiy. They danced the mambo. During rehearsals she has problems moving her hips for the Mambo. She seemed to pull it off pretty good and it was fun to watch. Judge Carrie Ann said that she said that her strong attacks on her movements work for this dance. Judge Len said that he is so surprised that a sports person that can come out and perform so well dancing. Judge Bruno said that she has the power and attack but he points out that her shoulders keep getting higher and higher and higher as the dance goes on, if she can work on the shoulders she will be a winner. Judges Scores: 7, 7, 7 = 21
Maurice Greene and Cheryl Burke were next up to dance the mambo. Cheryl said that he is a natural for the mambo but is concerned that he conforms to the dance rules. Way cool dance, Maurice did some breakdance moves and it was neat. Judge Bruno said that it was like being at a party and he likes parties. Judge Carrie Ann thought that the transitions were very smooth. Judge Len wondered why he did the free willy step (the breakdance move)? Judges Scores: 7, 7, 7 = 21.
Brooke Burke and Derek Hough danced the quickstep. Brooke had a little technical difficulty with her chest touching his; he said that is not allowed in the dance. So they strapped her baby in between them during practice. They are such a pretty couple on the dance floor. The outfits helped the dance as they looked very glamorous tonight. Judge Len said again that this is the best dance so far. Judge Bruno said that they are pure Hollywood. Judge Carrie Ann said that she is nothing but grace and beauty and class, last night she was blown away but tonight was fantastic. Judges Scores: 9, 8, 9 = 26.
Cloris Leachman and Corky Ballas are next up with mambo. Cloris is just too funny, she said that she understands that she is older than the mambo dance. Corky said that she is a little bit like his mother. The dance itself was funny and that was good, because that is why she can stick around for a while. Cloris said that she bribed the judges and gave them $10 each. The judges gave back the bribe, and Cloris said that she knows they don’t give them very much money. Judge Carrie Ann said that she can shimmy and she can do the crotchy grabby thing, and she said that she gives her points for entertaining. Judge Len said that she can shake them, and he thinks that Corky has done a fantastic job. Judge Bruno said that he has ever seen another mambo like this and he doesn’t think he will ever see a dance like this again. Judges Scores: 6, 5, 5 = 16.
Toni Braxton and Alec Mazo danced the quickstep. She is concerned about her heart disease and had a tough time keeping her breath during the quickstep dance rehearsals. He said that she needs to breathe. I think that their quickstep was the best so far tonight. She brought the glamour and she also kept up so well. Judge Bruno said that it was all the qualities of fine champagne. At the end she tightened up in the end. Judge Carrie Ann said that she has a natural movement and they have chemistry together. Judge Len said that the dance went well, and was a very, very, good performance. Judges Scores: 8, 7, 8 = 23.

Warren Sapp and Kym Johnson danced the quickstep. During rehearsals he said that the quickstep was so awkward. It was a fun dance, the audience loved it. Judge Len said that was a tough dance for him, but for entertainment it was good, but technique could be better. Judge Bruno said it was incredible and he has achieved a lot in such a short span of time. Judge Carrie Ann said that he was tons of fun, and Len was correct but his footwork needed more work. Judges Scores: 7, 7, 8 = 22.
Ted McGinley and Inna Brayer danced the mambo. I think he improved dramatically compared to last night’s dance. He seemed more confident. Judge Carrie Ann said there is a bit of awkwardness in the way that he moves, and he needs to try to find a way to ease up on the over exaggeration of the movement. Judge Len said that it was a very commendable mambo. Judge Bruno said that he needs to listen to the music and go with the rhythm. Judges Scores: 6, 6, 7 = 19.
Cody Linley and Julianne Hough danced the quickstep. They did a rock tune “I Want You To Want Me,” which helped give the dance some energy. Judge Bruno called them the king and queen of the prom. He said to watch a little bit on the footwork. Judge Carrie Ann said that it is one of the most difficult dances on the show, and he has gone from being a boy to a man. Judge Len said that he danced with great maturity. He did a great job; it was a bit loose here and there, but overall a good job. Judges Scores: 8, 7, 8 = 23.
Rocco DiSpirito and Karina Smirnoff danced the mambo. Karina had injured her ankle last time during rehearsal, which really hurt their score last night. He was having a tough time wiggling his body during rehearsal. He was pretty good on the dance floor, and he pulled it off. Judge Len said that their dance tonight was much better. Judge Bruno called him an Italian stallion, and he was stunned. Judge Carrie Ann said that he was super sexy. Judges Scores: 7, 7, 7 = 21.
Susan Lucci and Tony Dovolani danced the quickstep. Susan was frustrated during dance rehearsals. She kept up better and wasn’t so soft like last nights dance. Judge Carrie Ann said that she had so much more power. She noticed that Tony lifted her. Judge Len said that this was so much better than last nights dance. Judge Bruno said that she had class, elegance, and glamour and this was her element and she excels in ballroom. Judges Scores: 7, 7, 8 = 22.
They are down to the final two at this point. Remaining are Kim Kardashian and Jeffery Ross. The one that got voted off was Jeffrey and Edyta. He said that Edtya was going to be easy on his eyes, he thought that her husband would have been the one that poked him in the eye. He had suffered from a scratched cornea. He continued to joke around and he ended by saying he is more ha ha ha than cha cha cha.
Last to dance tonight in the competition is Kim Kardashian and Mark Ballas. They danced the mambo. The song they danced was “I like Big Butts” which is was a bit silly. It was ok, but I think she didn’t do enough dance moves. She stood around while her partner did the dancing. Judge Bruno said that it frustrates him that she doesn’t use what she has got. Judge Len said that she needs to come out of her shell, and Mark over danced to compensate for her lack. Judge Carrie Ann said that she isn’t at the level at everybody else but she should keep trying. Judges Scores: 6, 6, 6 = 18.
Tonight they will have the results show for eliminating the second couple from the competition. They will have the Jonas Brothers perform on the show.
If I would have to guess which one is going home… hmmm I almost think that Kim Kardashian might be going home this time. Cloris is not the best, but she will likely get the votes for the entertainment factor. Let’s face it Cloris is a riot!
