[Best Syndication News] The launch for the Endeavour space shuttle that was planned for today was called off due to Florida's bad weather. The inclement weather included cumulus clouds and lightning which violated rules for launching. They would have to be able to land the shuttle in case of emergency and the weather wouldn't allow for this.
The astronauts were suited up and were 9 minutes away from liftoff before the cancellation was called.
NASA will attempt another launch again on Monday at 6:51 p.m. There will be coverage of the launch on NASA TV at 1:30 p.m.
The STS-127 mission has been plagued with canceled launch dates. This will be there fourth attempt to launch. They will need to launch by July 14th otherwise they might have to wait until July 27th for another launch time because Russia will be sending there spacecraft up during this time frame.
The STS-127 mission will be travelig to the Intenational space station to install a Japan's equipment.
