[Best Syndication News] Whitney Houston appeared at the Beverly Hilton to promote her comeback album, “I Look to You” which is scheduled to be released on September 1st.

This listening party had an audience that was filled with celebrities of all walks, Jane Fonda, Halle Berry, Penny Marshall, Stevie Wonder, Barry Manilow, Brian McKnight, Suzanne De Passe, Diane Warren, Richard Perry, and Magic Johnson. This was according to a report LA Times newspaper report of the event.

Clive Davis who worked with Houston in the past, is back with her again for this album and he said that this new album was three years in the making.

The new recordings of Whitney Houston is described as being an assortment of dance songs, mid-tempo, and power ballads. Alicia Keys written song “Million Dollar Bill” performed by Houston brought the crowd a rousing ovation.

Houston had many troubling years of addiction and domestic issues with her husband Bobby Brown that made tabloid news over the past years. Houston acknowledged it saying "Those years when we were apart, I was lost," as she was talking to Clive Davis, “But now I'm home, where I belong.”

This will be Houston's seventh studio album. According to Wikipedia, Houston will be performing at the 'Fall Concert' series on Good Morning America to promote the new album.
