[Best Syndication News] A voluntary recall has been issued by the McNeil Consumer Healthcare for certain lots of Childrens' and Infants' TYLENOL® liquid products. The recalled products were manufactured between April 2008 and June 2008.

The reason for the recall is that the manufacturer of the TYLENOL® products found that one inactive ingredient did not meet up the quality standards and decided as a precautionary measure to recall the products that were made during this time period. CNN Moneyreported that their was a bacteria found, but the manufacturer said that the stomach would very likely kill the bacteria. However they did say that if the bacteria was present in a nasal spray it could lead to an infection.

The recall does not include any of the Children's TYLENOL® Meltaways and Junior Strength TYLENOL® Meltaways. The recall is for only some lots of the liquid products of the Children's and Infants' TYLENOL®.
