How to Lose Belly Fat Fast

Many people think that the best road to having some amazing abs is to sit at home, lie on the carpet and do a crunch repetitions marathon. This is a very common approach but it will never lead to the killer abs you dreamed of.

You should know that the basic crunch exercise is only a beginners training exercise that has the sole purpose of building some body resistance. If you do about 50 to 100 crunches you will get stronger and be able to stand more exercises but your abs will not become perfect only by doing that.

Also, the crunch movement only works the abs when you do trunk flexion. But the trunk flexion is only one movement from the whole and complete abdominal exercise from a perfect ab routine. In conclusion, you will never get the perfect abs by simply doing one single routine. You have to do several exercises as part of a routine. This can be confusing but in time you will get the hang of it.

Food is one of the keys. You may not have known this but a bad diet will prevent your body from losing fat. In many cases people that starve themselves or restrict some of the macronutrients (protein, carbs, and fat) will end up losing muscles and not fat. Losing muscles must not happen because the body will not look like you want to. You must keep the muscles and eliminate the fat. The muscles must give the contour on your body and not the fat.

So make sure you are following the right diet. Get a nutritional plan that offers your body what it needs but in the right quantity so that the body can turn into a good fat-burning machine.

After figuring the diet out you need to organize the exercises. Do not do traditional exercises like leg lifts, side bends and crunches because they will not burn your body fat. You need to do workouts that specifically target the stomach area.

Many trainees don’t know this and they make you do countless repetitions of various ab exercises. They also focus on multi-joint exercises that primarily work the major muscle groups of the body like the legs, chest and back and the abs are left aside.

The key is to loose belly fat really fast by doing lunges, squats, step-ups, rows, pulls, and a dead lifting movements. Do each workout with a high intensity. There must be no 3 to 5 minutes rest between the exercises. Push yourself hard and you will see the results!

All this being said, you must also know that when somebody tells you that you will lose fat by popping a pill or sitting in front of the TV with an "ab-belt" strapped to your belly it means he is lying to you!
Only a good diet and regular workouts are the keys to having a fit body and those six pack abs that you have seen in magazines and dreamed about.
