(Best Syndication News) - If you are wanting to lose weight, you might want to add exercise to your diet plan. According to a study conducted by Brazilian researchers at the University of Campinas, exercise can help restore neurons that help tell your body that you are feeling full. By feeling full on less food, this can help to reduce calorie intake and to help lose weight in the long run. The study will be published next week in the online open access journal PLoS Biology.

The researchers studied how obese rodents hypothalamic neurons signals were restored after exercising . The researchers found that the obese animals that exercised increased the IL-6 and the IL-10 protein levels found in the hypothalamus. These molecules are important for improving insulin and leptin sensitivity. Leptin is known to signal to the hypothalamus portion of the brain that tells you that you are full.

Besides following a diet plan, exercise should be part of your weight loss program. Make sure to check in with your doctor before beginning any weight loss regimen.
