'Happy Days' Actor Tom Bosley Dies

(Best Syndication News) - Actor, Tom Bosley died at the age of 83 after suffering from heart failure. Bosley was also fighting lung cancer said his wife. Bosley played the part of the father on the popular 70's and 80's TV show. Altogether the 'Happy Days' enjoyed 11 seasons running from 1974 until 1985.

Bosley will be most remembered for his acting as the American dad on 'Happy Days.' Bosley continued to act after the TV series ended. He continued to work all the way up to 2010 on various projects from acting to doing voices for other productions.

Other notable achievements in Bosley's acting career include the lead as Father Frank Dowling in the 'Father Dowling Mysteries' TV series that aired from 1987 – 1991. Bosley also acted the role of Sheriff Amos Tupper in the very popular TV series 'Murder, She Wrote' which aired from 1984 – 1988.

Old episodes of 'Happy Days' are airing in syndication on cable and TV stations still today. Currently, HUB Channel on Cable and Satellite TV channels are airing the old TV series.
