The HP TouchPad tablet is using webOS operating system, which is the first tablet to support this operating system. The webOS operating system was designed for email, web browsing and maybe targeted for business users that are always on the go. WebOS is a multitasking operating system. The HP TouchPad 4G tablet has both Wi-Fi and mobile broadband service connectivity.

The tablet has many options for subscribing to the AT&T mobile broadband service.
