Target expands Electronics Trade-in Program

Target Store - credit: Target

(Best Syndication News) - Target Corporation (NYSE:TGT) announced that they will be expanding their electronic trade-in program to include more items and will be available at 1490 stores that have Target Mobile centers in them.

The new product categories accepted for trade-in now include calculators, DVDs, iPods, iPads, iPHones, cellphones, Nintendo DS units, and video games.

Trade-in value is then assessed at the store per each transaction. Target will determine the condition of each item that is wanted to be traded in. The person trading in the electronics will then get a prepaid Target card for the trade-in value of the item. The Target card can go pay for the next shopping trip at the store.

Target partnered with NextWorth to offer their in-store trade-in program. NextWorth is a company that specializes in electronic trade-in and upgrades programs. There is also a trade-in program at NextWorth.com where a person can get cash or a gift card. The shipping to send in the product to NextWorth is free.
