(Best Syndication News) - Today, T-Mobile USA, Inc. announced the consolidation of call centers, which will displace 3,300 employees and will eliminate 1,900 jobs. The company said that they would close seven of their call center locations by the end of June.

Philipp Humm, CEO, and President of T-Mobile, said in a statement that they were shrinking their call centers to improve efficiency and to “invest for growth.”

The seven call center locations employ around 3,300 people. T-mobile said that they plan on hire 1,400 at their remaining 17 call-center locations. The company is inviting the affected employees to transfer to the other call center locations and has offered relocation assistance to them.

The seven affected call centers will remain open and operational for the next three months. The call centers that will be closing are located in Allentown, Pennsylvania; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Frisco, Texas; Brownsville, Texas; Lenexa, Kansas; Thornton, Colorado and Redmond, Oregon.
