(Best Syndication News) - The Glee TV show cast have broken their own record as the only music act to place 200 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

The Glee cast first entered the Hot 100 list in 2009 with the Journey song “Don’t Stop Believin’.” The Glee performance of the song made its debut at #4. The 200 record entries record was helped by their performance of Gotye’s “Sombody That I Used To Know,” which sold 170,000 songs in only two weeks.

In 2010, the Glee cast beat the Beatles’ record of 71 entries on the Hot 100. Then in 2011, the Glee cast ousted Elvis Presley’s record of 108 entries in the list. Glee cast also surpassed James Brown’s record of 91 songs, Ray Charles’ record of 74 songs, and Aretha Franklin’s record of 73 songs.

Glee cast has sold around 43 million songs and over 12 million albums worldwide. On May 15, the Glee cast will have a new album released called, “Glee: The Music, The Graduation Album.”
