Nissan Titan and Armada Vehicle Recall announced for Rim Labeling Error

Nissan recall - BSN

(Best Syndication News) - The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced a recall of certain 2012 Titan and Armada vehicles because they do not have the rim size information. This could lead to the wrong tire and wheel combination that could lead to a vehicle crash.

The vehicles involved were manufactured between August 12, 2011 and March 13, 2012. Around 26,626 vehicles are involved in this recall notices.

To correct this error, Nissan will be supplying owners with a new label that the owner can install. Nissan will provide instructions on how to do this. Optionally, if installing the label proves too difficult for the consumer, they can take the label to a Nissan dealership to have the label installed at no cost. Nissan is expecting to begin sending the labels and instructions out around May 14, 2012.
