Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 Vehicle recall involves certain 2011-2012 Cars

Car recall - BSN

(Best Syndication News) - The US Department of Transportation’s NHTSA announced the recall of certain 2011-2012 model years of Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300 vehicles because the ABS/ESC system could fail from an overheated power distribution center.

This system failure could cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle, which could lead to a crash. The recalled vehicles will need to have the ABS/ESC system fuse to be relocated to fix this problem.

An estimated 119,072 vehicles are involved in this recall. Chrysler will be notifying vehicle owners of the recall during May 2012. The owners will be given instructions on how to schedule the free repair at dealerships. The dealers will relocate the ABS/ESC system fuse so it will not overheat. Vehicle owners can also contact Chyrsler toll-free at 1-800-853-1403.
