Containment expected this evening for Cabazon Wildland Fire

(Best Syndication News) - The Wildland Fire occurred on Sunday and has burnt at least 300 acres. The Riverside County Fire Department along with CAL Fire announced this morning that the fire stopped spreading and it is expected to be fully contained by 6 pm today. The voluntary evacuation orders have been canceled.

The fire was first reported on Sunday night. The cause of the fire is still under investigation. There were no structures damaged and no injuries were reported.

The fire was located near the community of Cabazon by the Desert View and Cottonwood Road intersection.

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag warning for the Antelope Valley and surrounding foothill areas because of the strong gusts of wind and the low relative humidity. The warning has been issued through Tuesday until 8 pm.
