Baby Move Prune Concentrate recall announced for possible Salmonella

(Best Syndication News) - The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced that Wellements LLC is voluntarily recalling Baby Move™ Prune Concentrate liquid supplement because one of the ingredients used to make it could have been contaminated with Salmonella. The ingredient came from another supplier. No illnesses have been reported in relationship with this recall.

The products being recalled have the lot number 12179. No other lot numbers are involved. The recalled Wellements Baby Move™ Prune Concentrate came in 4-ounce containers. The UPC code of the product is 729609019878.

The raw material, Purimune (Galacto Oligosaccharide), tested positive for Salmonella contamination. However, there was no bottle of Baby Move™ Prune Concentrate that was identified with Salmonella.

Out of extreme caution, Wellements is asking consumers not to use the recalled product. Instead, they should take the product back to the place of purchase to return it and get a refund. Consumers with more questions can contact Wellements’ customer service toll free- at 800-255-2690 ext. 210 between 8 am and 5 pm PST.
