Starbucks announces partnership with Selecta
(Best Syndication News) - Starbucks Coffee Company (NASDAQ: SBUX) announced a new partnership with Selecta. The partnership will have Selecta distribute Starbucks premium 100% FairtradeArabica coffee through a pilot program called Starbucks Office Coffee. This new venture will operate in Switzerland starting in September.
Selecta is Europe's largest vending service company. Starbucks would have Selecta deliver their coffee to workplace environments. Currently, Selecta has coffee vending services at over 100,000-workplace locations throughout Europe. In Switzerland, there are 15,000 vending locations serviced by Selecta.
The Starbucks Office Coffee vending service will be made available in a few different formats. There will be a tabletop version, a medium sized stand-alone version, and a large stand-alone version. There will also be an integrated Coffee Corner option. The equipment will be designed for self-service.
Selecta will offer a variety of Starbucks beverages at their vending machines. They will offer the Starbucks’s Café Crème, Espresso, Doppio Espresso, Cappuccino, Caffè Latte, Chai Tea Latte, Vanilla Latte, Espresso Macchiato, Latte Macchiato, and Hot Chocolate to their customers. They will also have a variety of Starbucks’s Tazo tea blends including Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Refresh, China Green Tips, and Calm.
