(Best Syndication News) - Apple estimates that they have sold over five million new iPhone 5 mobile phones in only three days after launching the product on September 21, 2012.

The Apple iPhone 5 is now available in the United States, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore. On September 28, Apple will make the iPhone 5 available in 22 more countries. By the end of the year the company expects to have the phone available in over 100 countries.

The demand for the new iPhone 5 has outpaced the starting supply. Apple said that most of the pre-orders have been shipped to customers. There are many pre-orders that are scheduled to ship out in October.

Despite the high demand for the product, Apple CEO Tim Cook said that stores will continue to receive iPhone 5 shipments on a regular basis. If customers order online they can get an estimated delivery time.

The Apple iPhone 5 has a suggested retail price of $199 for the 16 GB version and $299 for the 32 GB model, and $399 for the 64GB unit. Because of the release of the Apple iPhone 5, the prior version the iPhone 4 is available for free with a two-year contract, and the iPhone 4S is available for $99.
