(Best Syndication News) - The Season 11 winner of American Idol, Phillip Phillips, will be releasing his debut album The World From The Side Of The Moon on November 19, 2012. The album will include his hit single “Home.” Additionally, there will be a deluxe version of the album that will include three additional tracks.

The album was produced by Gregg Wattenberg (Train, O.A.R.). Phillips wrote and co-wrote most of the songs on the album. He also had his brother-in-law, Ben Neil, play guitar for a few of the songs.

Phillip’s love for making music started when he was 14. He learned to play guitar from his sister’s then boyfriend, Ben Neil. Later on, his sister married Ben Neil. The three of them formed an acoustic band several years later. In 2011, his family and friends suggested he audition for American Idol, where he performed songs by Creedence Clearwater Revival, Otis Redding, and Wilson Pickett. Eventually he was named the winner for season 11 during the finale on FOX's American Idol.

The album is available for pre-order at
