(Best Syndication News) - Logitech announced the addition of a Bluetooth Easy-Switch Keyboard and a Wireless Rechargeable Trackpad for Apple products. The new Logitech Bluetooth Easy-Switch Keyboard will work with the Mac, iPad, and iPhone, while the Logitech Rechargeable Trackpad works with the Apple Mac.

Logitech Bluetooth Easy-Switch Keyboard Features

The new Logitech Bluetooth Easy-Switch Keyboard lets users switch the keyboard from a Mac, then to an iPad, and then to an iPhone, all with just a touch of a button. Three devices are supported on the keyboard and will continue to work interchangeably without rebooting devices.

The enclosure is made of aluminum to go along with the look of the Apple products. The keys have backlit characters to allow for use in the dark. To conserve power, the keyboard lights up only when your hand is approaching, and it is intelligent enough to adjust the illumination levels based on the lighting in the room. The keyboard is similar to the Logitech Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard K810 in functionality.

Logitech Wireless Rechargeable Trackpad Features

The Logitech Wireless Rechargeable Trackpad works with the Mac OS by using multi-touch gestures to navigate. The trackpad has a smooth glass surface, which is similar to a touchscreen tablet surface. The gestures will let the user click, scroll, swipe, zoom and more.

The touch area is larger than most notebook touchpads, making it easier to navigate the computer. The trackpad has been designed with a durable surface to resist scratches and fingerprints. Recharging the trackpad is accomplished with a USB cable. Once the trackpad has been fully recharged, it can work for around one month between charging. There is an on/off switch to conserve battery power between uses. Because the trackpad is wireless, the trackpad can be used within a 30 ft range from the computer.

Pricing and Availability

Both the Bluetooth Easy-Switch Keyboard and the Logitech Rechargeable Trackpad are scheduled to be released in the US and in Europe during the month of January 2013. The manufacturer has a suggested retail price of $99.99 for the keyboard and $69.99 for the trackpad.
