Audi Roadside Assistance App for Smartphones available for US Customers

(Best Syndication News) - Audi has announced that they will have a free Roadside Assistance app for the Apple iPhone, some Blackberry, and Android mobile devices. The app uses the mobile phone GPS to help get roadside assistance and be able to find the nearest dealership.

The Audi mobile roadside app uses Allstate Roadside Services to help with the service. The Audi customer needs to pre-register their vehicle information so that it will work along with the phones GPS to help get appropriate roadside help.

All new Audi cars sold have a complimentary 24/7 roadside assistance in the United States and Puerto Rico. The service is for the first four years once the car is delivered to the customer and warranty is activated.

Lower Prices on Electronics This Year?

(Best Syndication News) Despite the destruction of factories in Japan and the slowdown of production from the March 11th earthquake, some forecasters believe the price of some electronics products may still be declining this year.

Over the last few years the price of electronics has been falling. Computers, tablets, Blu-Ray players and mobile phones have all been declining. The popular monthly magazine, Readers Digest, published historic “low prices” for these popular items. The magazine also made predictions for this year.

HDTV Prices

In 2009 the lowest price found for a 55-inch LCD HDTV was $1,115. Last year the lowest price was found at Walmart. The Element 55-inch LCD HDTV was $699. This year the price could go as low as $599.

(Best Syndication News) - The Motorola XOOM tablet PC is available for pre-order at Best Buy stores nationwide and will become available this February 24, 2011. The cost of the Motorola XOOM is $799 and requires one month of data activation.

The Motorola XOOM that is selling at Best Buy for $799 is a 3G and WiFi®-enabled version of the tablet PC running on the Google Android 3.0 Honeycomb OS.

On Motorola's website they also mention a XOOM tablet that is Wi-Fi only, but the only model that is being sold at Best Buy is the 3G version. It might be that the WiFi only model may be available only in the European market currently. The Wi-fi only version the tablet user would need to have access through another Internet provider separate from the device.

(Best Syndication News) - Sony Ericsson announced the Xperia Play mobile smartphone that incorporates the PlayStation quality gaming into a Google Android OS phone. The new gaming mobile phone is scheduled to be released in March 2011 in European countries. This will be the first smartphone to be certified by PlayStation.

Sony Computer Entertainment has developed a number of games that are available on the Google Android Market. Currently the PlayStation Suite initiative is being implemented which later on this year, the Xperia Play will have access to PlayStation game content. Sony is working with major game developers for the PlayStation to make the XperiaPlay be able to play the games as well. EA's “Need for Speed”, “Sims 3”, and “FIFA 10” are said to be porting to the mobile phone platform for PlayStation. Also working on porting over is Activision to port of “Guitar Hero” and Gameloft will be porting over “Assassin’s Creed” and “Splinter Cell.”
