Unfortunately, Cyber Monday is also an opportunity for online thieves to steal personal information from consumers.

Identity theft is a real concern. In 2010, around 11.1 million American adults were victims of identity theft, according to the 2012 Identity Fraud Survey Report (Javelin Strategy & Research). The average time spent clearing up identity theft is estimated to be around 330 hours.

AT&T to invest $14 Billion in Wireless and Wired Broadband Infrastructure

(Best Syndication News) – Today AT&T announced a plan to invest $14 billion over the next three years to expand their 4G LTE network and wired IP Broadband network. The expanded coverage will help create faster Internet speeds for consumers throughout the United States.

AT&T estimates that around 300 million people will be covered by the 4G LTE wireless broadband network by the end of 2014. Around $8 billion has been allocated for wireless initiatives.

The wired-IP broadband network coverage will also be expanded to 75 percent of their customer locations in AT&T’s 22-state wired phone service area by the end of 2015. Around $6 billion has been set aside for wireline expansion.

Microsoft introduces new Windows Phone 8 OS for Smartphones

The Windows Phone 8 mobile smartphones will go on sale starting in November. Nokia, Samsung, and HTC will offer the operating system on some of their smartphones. The major carriers, such as AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon, along with others, will supply the Windows Phone-8 supported devices.

New Apple iPad mini offers Lightweight Compact Design

(Best Syndication News) - Apple unveiled their iPad mini today, a new thinner, faster, and lighter iPad. It is the third generation of iPad products and includes retina display for better viewing from any angle. The HD camera offers high resolution pictures and conferencing. The wireless transfer speed is also faster.

The 7.9-inch Multi-Touch display offers 35 percent more screen space than the 7-inch tablets. The viewing area when browsing the web is 67 percent more usable. The display has the same number of pixels as the other iPad tablets, so it will be compatible with all iPad-supported apps.

The Apple iPad mini is lightweight and thin. The new offering weighs only 0.68 pounds and is only 7.2 mm thick. The case is aluminum for durability and the display is glass.

Logitech introduces Wireless Webcam

The Logitech Broadcaster Wi-Fi Webcam frees a person from their computer system to be able to move about because the camera is not connected with wires. The webcam can work with live streaming, recording video, and video chatting. The new camera is able to support two different angles so that a person can edit an AB roll. The bad news is that it is currently supported only on Apple’s Mac computers, iPhones, and iPads.
