The cost of Amazon Glacier is as low as $0.01/GB/month. The scalability of paying for what you use is different from other backup storage services. Customers do not have to overpay for what they do not use.

Customers might want to archive digital media, financial, and medical records. Businesses might want to backup their company database.

This is the ninth major release of Apple’s OS X operating system. Mac users who have the Lion or Snow Leopard revisions were able to pay $19.99 US dollars for the latest revision.

According to Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, the latest Mountain Lion release is their most successful release the company has ever had.

Customers can download the OS X Mountain Lion software at Apple’s Mac App Store. With each sale being $19.99 and multiplied by 3 million downloads, the revenue created for Apple was considerable. Apple could have potentially generated around $60 million in sales from the OS X Mountain Lion release in only four days.

iGoogle to be completely retired in 16 Months - Mobile Support will end this Month

The iGoogle website offers users a way to customize several feeds of information such as weather, news, games, and more at one location. The mobile version of iGoogle will be retired on July 31, 2012, while the standard computer web-browser version will retire in 16 months on November 1, 2013.

Google suggests users download any data that may be stored up there. They can do this by looking for a "download all" option in a drop down menu next to the widget’s title. Many of the widgets come from a third party, and might not have this option. Google suggests contacting the third party widget maker to ask how to get the data downloaded.

Apple iPhone and iPad sales boost Q2 2012 results 94 Percent

(Best Syndication News) - Apple Inc., (NASDAQ:AAPL) announced their fiscal second quarter results that ended on March 31, 2012. The result was a net profit increase of 94 percent year over year. Apple’s sales were boosted by the iPhone and iPad products.

The Apple iPhone sales were 35.1 million units sold in fiscal Q2 2012, which is an 88 percent increase compared to the same time last year. The Apple iPad sales increased 151 percent in Q2 2012 compared to the prior year. The company sold 11.8 million iPads. Mac computer sales increase 7 percent in the quarter compared to the prior year. Apple iPod sales of 7.7 million were 15 percent less than the previous year’s Q2 data.
