Whitney Houston Dead at 48 - Cause of Death Unknown

(Best Syndication News) - Singer and actress, Whitney Houston, died on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 3:55 pm PT after paremedics were unable to revive her when members of her entourage found her unresponsive at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Houston was scheduled to perform at Clive Davis's pre-Grammy party that was being held at the hotel later in that day.

The cause of Houston’s death is currently unknown; however, it is not believed to be foul play. Houston struggled with drug addiction in the past, and many wonder if she had been intoxicated.

It caused a small amount of controversy when Beyonce reportedly took the whole maternity ward over to give birth to her daughter. (Best Syndication News) - FOX’s ‘The X Factor’ premiered last night and there are many differences from the long running ‘American Idol.’ The show is said to be geared for adults more than teens, especially after they aired some rather shocking auditions last night.

The biggest difference is the age range. The new show includes people from the age of 12 all the way up to senior citizens. They have group categories, for young people, for those over 30, and for group performances. The ‘American Idol’ competition only allows younge people between the ages of 15 and 28 to compete.

(Best Syndication News) - The MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) aired this Sunday; and there was some shocking moments during the TV broadcast. Lady Gaga dressed up like a guy, and looked like one too. Beyonce showed off her baby bump and announced her pregnancy.

Lady Gaga opened the show dressed up like a man. She called herself Jo Calderone. As the audience's jaws dropping, Gaga continued to be this man character throughout the show. She looked very like a man wearing a short-black hair wig and a black jacket and pants.

VUDU Streaming Video Service now available for Apple iPad

(Best Syndication News) - VUDU announced that they now support the Apple iPad for their video-on-demand online service. VUDU is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. They do not have monthly subscriptions, but instead offer individual rentals and purchase options for their video library of 20,000 titles.

Rentals are as low as 99 cents, but most rentals start at $3.99 for new releases. VUDU also has special $2 rentals for 2 days.
