(Best Syndication News) - A recall of SkilSaw branded Miter Saws was announced today by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on behalf of Robert Bosch Tool Corporation. The recall is for a lower safety guard that could break off and pose a laceration danger to the user. No injuries were reported to the company in regards to this recall. Bosch is offering owners of the miter saw a free lower replacement guard kit to remedy the problem.

The miter saws were sold at Lowe’s Home Centers nationwide and also at OC Tanner. The tools were sold between January 2012 and April 2012.

(Best Syndication News) - The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the voluntary recall of around 162,700 Twist’n Sparkle Beverage Carbonation Systems because the bottles could explode when put under pressure. The plastic pieces could cause personal injury to people standing nearby when the bottle shatters.

The importer, iSi North America Inc. received nine reports of the plastic bottles exploding under pressure. Three reports involved people being cut from the plastic shards.

The Twist’n Sparkle Beverage Carbonation Systems were sold at Williams-Sonoma, QVC, and other nationwide retailers and through online sales between June 2010 and March 2012 at a price around $50 for the Starter Set, and around $30 for the Bottle Set.

Discovery Kids branded Animated Marine and Safari Lamps recalled for Fire and Burn Danger

(Best Syndication News) - The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the voluntary recall of animated marine and safari lights because they could short-circuit causing a fire or burn danger. The lamps were imported by Innovage LLC and were sold under the Discovery Kids brand.

Around 300,000 of the decorative lamps are involved in the recall. Innovage recalled the product after receiving 11 reports of the products short-circuiting. There were three incidences of the lamps catching on fire and damaging property. No people were injured.

Pedigree brand Wet Dog Food Recall announced for possible Plastic

(Best Syndication News) - The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced the voluntary recall of certain Pedigree brand canned dog food because it could contain small pieces of blue plastic. Mars Petcare US, the company responsible for the dog food, said that they apologize for the inconvenience and want to reassure consumers that the problem has been identified and resolved.

The concern is that dogs could possibly choke on the plastic pieces. Consumers found the plastic pieces in the dog food. Mars Petcare US did not receive any reports of dogs being hurt or sickened from the food. The recalled dog food was distributed throughout the US. Only certain varieties of the PEDIGREE® weight management canned dog food is involved in the recall. All other Pedigree canned dog food is safe for the dogs to eat.
