(Best Syndication News) Mortgage interest rates advanced today as confident investors begin migrating to equities (see the mortgage rate charts below). Bank of America, HSBC, JPMorgan Chase, and U.S. Bank made changes in response to the moving capital markets.


Stock indexes finally started to rebound during Thursday’s trading session as investors started snapping-up bargains. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA), S&P 500, and the NASDAQ all opened higher but slowly slid to near par. Technology and service stocks lagged the general market as investors waited for the third quarter earnings statement from Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL).

(Best Syndication News) Mortgage interest rates were higher today after a shift in the capital markets (see the mortgage rate charts below). Bank of America lowered their rates while KeyBank, Chase, and SunTrust raised them.


Slow job growth prompted the Federal Reserve to continue their stimulus program while new homes sales improved in September. Stocks opened higher but slowly lost ground throughout the trading day.

The Federal Reserve said that the economy is growing at a moderate pace and interest rates will remain at historic low levels.

(Best Syndication News) Mortgage interest rates continued to trend lower today as secondary lenders reacted to a changing marketplace (see the mortgage rate charts below). Citibank, PNC, JPMorgan Chase, and Bank of America all lowered their loan products.


Weak earnings reports and concerns of a global economic slowdown spurred a sell-off on Wall Street Tuesday. Several Dow and S&P 500 constituents lowered their earnings forecasts and provided less-than-expected quarterly results.

After a day of disappointing earnings reports, Wall Street investors received some encouraging news from Yahoo! Inc. (NASDAQ:YHOO) after the closing bell. Although the company is still struggling, YHOO could be turning around following the appointment of Marissa Mayer as their Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

(Best Syndication News) Most lenders lowered their conventional mortgage rates while investors fled the equity markets Friday (see the mortgage rate charts below). PNC raised their mortgage rate while JPMorgan Chase and Wells Fargo moved in the opposite direction.


Unexpectedly weak earnings from McDonald's Corporation (NYSE:MCD), General Electric Company (NYSE:GE), and Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT) drove the three major indices lower Friday. The Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) index suffered because of the crash in these constituents, but the NASDAQ fell even more.
