Current Mortgage Rates Today – 30-Year Fixed at 4.83%

(Best Syndication News) Mortgage rates were mixed today with changes at Citibank, PNC and Chase Banks (see chart below).

30-Year Fixed Mortgage Rates

The average 30-year fixed rate mortgage (FRM) fell one basis point to 4.830 percent today. After plugging the rate into a mortgage calculator, we found payments of $1,711 on a loan amount of $325,000.

Citibank raised their rate two basis points to 5.19 percent. Over the last five days they have lowered their rate eight basis points.

Mortgage Interest Rates Higher Today – Changes at Bank of America and Chase

(Best Syndication News) After six days of declines, mortgage interest rates were higher today (see rate comparison chart below). Bank of America, Chase and SunTrust all raised their rates.

30-Year Fixed Mortgage Rates

The trend has been lower over the last week, but that changed today. The average rate was only slightly higher to 4.839 percent, but Bank of America and Chase made some major changes today.

SunTrust raised their interest rate one basis point to 4.90 percent. The bank froze their FHA financing at 5.25 percent.

Current Mortgage Rates Today – Lower Trend for U.S. Banks

(Best Syndication News) Most banks had lower interest rates again today with some big changes at SunTrust and PNC (see rate charts below).

30-Year Fixed Mortgage Rates

The average (mean) 30-year fixed rate mortgage (FRM) fell four basis points to 4.835 percent. The trend has been lower for six-days in a row.

After plugging the average rate into a mortgage calculator we found payments of $1,237 on a $230,000 mortgage. Rates will depend on the borrower’s credit score, the loan amount and the location of the home.

Mortgage Interest Rates Today – Changes at Chase, Bank of America, Citibank and SunTrust

(Best Syndication News) Mortgage rates moved lower again today beginning a change in the 100-day trend (see rate charts below). Bank of America and SunTrust made some big changes.

30-Year Fixed Mortgage Rates

The average 30-year fixed rate mortgage (FRM) was five points lower to 4.876 percent. This was the fifth day straight of declining interest rates. Over the last 100-days, the trend has been 17 basis points higher.

Chase lowered their 30-year FRM one basis point to 5.07 percent. The bank also offers 20-year loans. Those rates also dropped one basis point to 4.89 percent.

(Best Syndication News) Mortgage rates were lower today for the third straight days in a row (see rate chart below).

30-Year Fixed Mortgage Rates

The average 30-year fixed rate mortgage (FRM) fell one basis point to 4.924 percent. The rate is 19 points lower for the week.

Citibank lowered their rate two basis points to 5.27 percent. Over the last five days the rate is five points higher.

U.S. bank lowered their conventional 30-year loans two basis points. The bank also offers 20-year financing. That rate fell 11 points to 4.67 percent.
