Current Mortgage Rates Today – PNC HSBC and U.S. Bank Increase Rates

(Best Syndication News) Mortgage rates were higher today with major changes at HSBC and other banks (see rate charts below).

30-Year Fixed Mortgage Rates

The average 30-year fixed rate mortgage (FRM) jumped four basis points to 4.456 percent. This is the third straight day of increases and four of the last five days the rate has been higher.

HSBC raised their 30-year refinance and purchase loan rates 13-basis points to 5.28 percent. The bank separates the rates but they are typically the same. They also raised their 30-year FHA and VA loan rates 13-basis points to 5.19 percent.

Mortgage Rates Higher Again Today – Citibank Chase and SunTrust Make Changes

(Best Syndication News) Mortgage rates were higher today with Citibank making some big changes (see rate charts below).

30-Year Fixed Mortgage Rates

The average 30-year fixed rate mortgage (FRM) jumped three basis points to 4.984 percent. Over this last week that product has been up three of the last five days with a total advance of seven points. The average for the week was 4.93 percent.

Citibank made the biggest changes today. Over the last 30-days their rate is still lower by 25 basis points.

Current Mortgage Rates Higher Today – US Bank PNC and Chase Change Direction

(Best Syndication News) Mortgage interest rates were higher today following a five-day trend (see rate charts below). Bank of America and Citibank made minor changes while PNC and US Bank make major ones.

30-Year Fixed Mortgage Rates

The average 30-year fixed rate mortgage (FRM) jumped two points to 4.954 percent. We plugged that rate into a mortgage calculator and found monthly payments of $1,335 on a $250,000 loan.

Conventional rates have been declining over the last 30 days but are still higher over the 100-day period. The average for the last week is 4.93 percent.

Current Mortgage Interest Rates Today – Citibank SunTrust and Bank of America

30-Year Fixed Mortgage Rates

The average 30-year fixed rate mortgage (FRM) fell two basis points to 4.934 percent. The weekly and 100-day trend is still higher.

Citibank lowered their 30-year rate one basis point to 4.92 percent. They have been lowered their rate over the last 30-days. Their interest rate has fallen 53 basis points over that period.

30-Year Fixed Mortgage Rates

The average 30-year fixed rate mortgage (FRM) increased four basis points to 4.954 percent. We plugged that rate into a mortgage calculator and found a monthly payment of $1,308 on a $245,000 loan.

Most homebuyers are looking for home loans with no closing costs or points.
