(Best Syndication News) - Around 15,500 artificially lit Christmas trees are being recalled because the tree base could overheat, which might lead to a fire. The distributor, Bethlehem Lights of Taunton, Mass., sold their trees exclusively through QVC. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the voluntary recall today.

The recall was announced after QVC received 30 reports of the tree base overheating, melting, and smoking. The company did not receive any reports of personal injury.

QVC sold the trees between July 2011 and November 2011. The 6.5-foot tree sold for $320 and the 7.5-foot tree sold for $398.

Honda FourTrax ATV recall announced for Repair

(Best Syndication News) - The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the voluntary recall of American Honda’s FourTrax All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV). The recall was announced to repair a weld that could come apart on the ATV’s front right and left upper suspension arms. If the weld separates, the driver could lose control of the ATV and potentially crash.

American Honda knows of 10 reports of the ATVs’ suspension arm weld breaking. One report caused the rider to sprain their wrist.

Around 19,500 of the American Honda FourTrax All-Terrain Vehicles (ATV) are involved in the recall. This is an expanded recall, which includes ATVs that were previously recalled in February 2012. The recalled units were sold at Honda ATV dealers nationwide between September 2011 and November 2012. They retailed between $5,100 and $7,600.

The company announced the recall after a single sample tested positive for Burkholderia cepacia during a routine check at their manufacturing location. Now other samples tested positive, however, out of extreme caution, a recall has been announced.

There is very little medical risk for Burkholderia cepacia. There is a potential to infect individuals that have a weakened immune system or a chronic lung condition. An infection of Burkholderia cepacia can be difficult to get rid of with antibiotics because it is resistant.

(Best Syndication News) - Around 457,000 top-loading LG brand and Kenmore Elite brand washing machines are being voluntarily recalled for repair. The announcement was made today by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The drum that spins could come loose from the vibration of an unbalanced wash load. There is a risk for property damage and personal injury. LG Electronics Inc. announced the recall after receiving 343 reports of the washing machine vibrating beyond normal. Out of these reports, 187 reported minor property damage, and one minor injury was reported to the company.

The dog food was distributed and sold at around 130 PetSmart Stores in 36 states. So far, Claudia’s Canine Cuisine has not received any reports of dogs becoming ill from eating the cakes.
