Futures and Commodities – Gold Oil and Silver Prices Advance

(Best Syndication News) Gold, silver and oil prices advance in America and Asia today (see charts below). Since the settle, gold and silver are declining but oil continues to rise. Brent crude was lower.

Energy Prices

July Light Sweet Crude on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) advanced $2.11 a barrel (+2.10%) to $102.70 (see survey #2 settle price chart below). Gasoline prices followed-suit. RBOB gas on the NYMEX for July delivery increased two cents (+0.63%) to $3.05 a gallon.

Forex Trading and Currency Exchange Rates – Dollar Continues to Slide but Advances vs Yen

(Best Syndication News) The dollar continued its four-day decline today, but did gain against the Japanese yen (see forex charts below). The dollar hit a 100-day low against the franc.

World FX

The U.S. dollar dropped against all major currencies today with the exception of the yen (see average chart below). The greenback fell 0.30 percent against the Aussie, 0.76 percent against the euro, 0.43 percent against the pound and 0.31 percent against the franc.

Futures and Commodities – Oil Gold and Silver Prices end week higher but Dropping in Asia

(Best Syndication News) Commodities and futures were generally higher Friday and most were trending higher for the week (see charts below). In Tokyo commodities were lower.

Precious Metals

Precious metals advanced Friday on the COMEX and were also higher for the week (see survey #2 settle price chart below).

June gold prices were up $13.50 (+0.89%) to $1,536.30 a troy ounce. The commodity was 1.82 percent higher for the week, but has been dropping since the settle.

Futures and Commodities – Oil Gold and Silver Decline but Advance in Asia

(Best Syndication News) Many precious metals and energy products declined in the United States Thursday, but they are advancing in Asia early Friday (see charts below). Stocks were higher; the dollar declined and gold fell.

Precious Metals

June gold on the COMEX fell $3.90 (-0.26%) to $1,522.80 a troy ounce (see survey #2 settle price table below). The golden metal is still up 2.04 percent for the week.

Silver for July delivery fell 31 cents (-0.83%) to $37.33 an ounce. The ratio between gold and silver prices remained steady at 41.

Futures and Commodities Skyrocket Today – Oil Gold and Silver Prices Higher Again

(Best Syndication News) Precious metals, energy and agricultural products were all higher today (see charts below). Futures continued to climb in Asia as silver jumped nearly four percent in one day.

Precious Metals

Precious metals across the board were higher with silver gaining 4.19 percent on the COMEX Wednesday (see survey #2 settle chart below). The ratio between gold and silver dropped from 43 on Monday to 41 Wednesday. Last August the ratio was near 70.
