Martha Stewart’s Whole Living Magazine launches Digital Edition for Apple iPad

(Best Syndication News) - Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. (NYSE:MSO) has added another magazine that is available to read on the Apple iPad. The company's latest digital published magazine is Whole Living magazine, which will join Everyday Food on the tablet.

The magazine print edition will continue as usual, however the publishers have worked to optimize the digital version for the Apple iPad. This includes interactive bonus features such as audio and a step-by-step instructions on how to prepare a recipe. There are also animations and other interactive features to make the magazine more fun to read. The magazine will also have video interviews and fitness exercise demonstrations.

(Best Syndication News) - Easter candy mainstay, PEEPS candy, has merged their brand onto a Volkswagen Beetle. The yellow branded PEEPS chicken perches atop the matching Volkswagen Beetle along with the logos displayed on the side. Three of these vehicles are out on the Spring PEEPS® Magical Moments Tour™ that will be traveling throughout the Midwest and South.

The goals are to get the word out that PEEPS is a year-round treat. The PEEPSTER vehicles will be on tour during 2012. When the vehicles are not on tour, the tricked out cars will be on display at the PEEPS & COMPANY® stores at Mall of America, located in Bloomington, Minnesota, at National Harbor, MD, or at the Just Born headquarters store in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Davy Jones from the Monkees dead at 66

(Best Syndication News) - The singer from the Monkees group, Davvy Jones, passed away this Wednesday after suffering a heart attack in Florida. He was 66 years old.

The Monkees was formed in 1966 with four members – Davvy Jones, Micky Dolenz, Michael Nesmith, and Peter Tork. The Monkees continued to be a hit into the 1970’s. Some of the songs that the Monkees made into hit recordings were “Daydream Believer,” “Last Train to Clarksville,” and “I’m a Believer.”

The Monkees was a fictional band that got their start on a TV show, "The Monkees," that aired between September 1966 to March 1968. The theme song is still popular with the baby boomer generation. The TV show was a hit and the Monkees toured as a real band. Davy Jones reunited with the Monkees to tour twice, once in 1986-89 and again in 1996-97.

Whitney Houston Dead at 48 - Cause of Death Unknown

(Best Syndication News) - Singer and actress, Whitney Houston, died on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 3:55 pm PT after paremedics were unable to revive her when members of her entourage found her unresponsive at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Houston was scheduled to perform at Clive Davis's pre-Grammy party that was being held at the hotel later in that day.

The cause of Houston’s death is currently unknown; however, it is not believed to be foul play. Houston struggled with drug addiction in the past, and many wonder if she had been intoxicated.

Jay-Z and Beyonce's Child’s Name to be Trademarked

(Best Syndication News) On January 7th, 2012, Beyonce and Jay-Z had their first child, Blue Ivy. It caused a small amount of controversy when Beyonce reportedly took the whole maternity ward over to give birth to her daughter. She also was given a pretty unique name, and there is a pretty small chance that anyone else has that name.
