(Best Syndication News) - Doctor Oz has been working with Colleen who weighs around 700 pounds. On ‘The Dr. Oz Show’ today, Colleen was challenged by the doctor. He wanted her to do everything for herself without any help from her husband Derek.

Colleen counted on Derek to do all sorts of things for her, including brushing her teeth, bathing, and making her food. The show producers visited the couple's home to document Colleen doing everything by herself for the day. She started the day out brushing her teeth at the bathroom sink and she complained that her legs and back hurt. She has to bring a chair into the kitchen so she can make herself breakfast. Next, Colleen gave herself a sponge bath.

Krista said that a lot of her weight problems stem from the stress of dealing with her daughter's medical problems. She explained that her child had seizures and the doctors had to remove part of her child’s brain. Her daughter is now six years old now. She was normal up to 2 years old, but then her daughter had a seizure that changed everything. The neurologist said that they would have to remove the entire right side of her brain because of the medical condition.

She is a 32 year old who cares for her two young kids and husband who had suffered a stroke. Staci is the money earner for the family and is overwhelmed. She is about 250 pounds overweight.

Staci's husband Rodney had a stroke three weeks after he met her. He had high blood pressure for around 15 years and did not get treated for it. He said that every time he went to the doctors they would say he did not have high blood pressure and that he just needed to lose weight. He is numb on one side a lot.

Doctor Oz explained that eating in the dining room offers the best weight loss strategy, while eating in the kitchen can sabotage your dieting because you will be tempted to go back for seconds. Doctor Oz shared a list of the best and worst things you can do to lose weight.
