This is the age-old question. What is the http://www.anthony.com/index.cfm/a/catalog.catshow/catid/206 best shave cream? In simpler times, there were just a few shave creams, which were all kind of similar – nowadays there are countless options of foams to gels found in everything from pressurized cans, to eco-friendly tubes. Some people have even adopted ‘old school’ options like shaving soap, and some have rejected shaving creams altogether, by relying exclusively on electric razors. Everyone is different, so with all these options ahead of you, how can you find the shave cream that’s best for you? Here are some questions to ask before deciding on pursuing ‘the one’.

HOW EASY DO YOU WANT IT?

Some guys just don’t like to spend a lot of time on shaving, period. They don’t want to think about it, they don’t care if they cut themselves or nick themselves, and they certainly don’t want to spend a whole lot of money on this daily chore. A can of cheap shaving cream will do if you agree with this point of view, although it is kind of sad how much abuse they you may be putting their face through for the rest of your shaving life.

The Cost of Masculinity

It’s been some thirty years since the beginning of the women’s movement of the 70s and 80s that brought with it a tsunami of dramatic cultural and social change. Women not only redefined themselves beyond the restricted and limited role of housewife, but also challenged social mores of sexual discrimination, gaining for themselves legal, economic, educational and social rights and opportunities.

As a result of the women’s movement, many men in the United States similarly began to question their own experience as men. Discussions from what being a “man” truly meant to men’s rights within the court system (with regards to divorce and child custody) became prevalent. Thirty years later, however, and into the 21st century, where are we as men? How have we grown in our understanding of what it is to be a man? Recent research, statistics, books and articles on masculinity would suggest not much, not much at all.
