The Anna Nicole Smith drama continues with Larry Birkhead filing a paternity lawsuit in Los Angeles, and Anna Nicole getting married to her lawyer, Howard K. Stern, on a sailboat off the Bahamas. Birkhead is filing the lawsuit in an attempt to establish paternity and possibly obtain visitation rights.

Anna Nicole Smith once claimed Birkhead was the father, according to Entertainment Tonight. Birkhead says that he went to the ultrasounds. He told ET "What's so funny is she stamped her handprint as the mom in the baby book, and I stamped it as the dad. And Howard was standing in the room, too. It was kind of uncomfortable, and she said, 'Howard, come here, stamp your hand,' and she wrote, 'Uncle Howard.' So why would Uncle Howard be Daddy Howard?" Howard Stern now claims to be the father, according to a report in the Seattle Post Intelligencer.

Oprah Winfrey told Naomi Judd that her life changed for the better once she came to the realization that she deserved.

"When you're really inside yourself -- you don't need a book, you don't need a psalm, you don't need a song, but you know that you are worthy because you were born," Oprah told Naomi, who was on her show discussing her struggle with weight issues. "The moment you get to the point where you really do feel worthy and, 'I deserve it, I deserve all the happiness and abundance that God is willing to give me,' it will be over."

What Oprah said is true, not only for her, but for all of us.

That Oprah show inspired the teen self-esteem building nonprofit organization, Hey U.G.L.Y., to create a survey to get people in touch with their inner deservedness.

Anna Nicole Smith’s newborn baby has a daddy or maybe two… hmmm. Anna Nicole Smith never announced publicly the father of the child during her pregnancy. Smith’s lawyer, Howard Stern, has announced yesterday on CNN’s Larry King Live show that he is the father of the newly born baby girl. The couple named the newborn Dannie Lynn Hope to honor the unexpected death of her son Daniel Smith only days after the birth of Smith's baby girl.

At the same time, however Larry Birkhead is claiming that he is the father of Dannie Lynn and wants to take a paternity test to prove that he is the father. When news first broke with the announcement of Smith’s pregnancy it was rumored that he was the father.

Birkhead said to US magazine in an exclusive interview, “I have asked for a DNA test and I welcome it. I am in good spirits this morning because I know I am the father of the child. I look forward to having a relationship with my new daughter.” US magazine said that at this time a DNA paternity test has not yet been scheduled.

According to reports by MSNBC, Mel Gibson made statements that were indirectly referring to the condition of the United States during a promotional tour of his new film called “Apocalypto” which is about the fall of the Mayan empire.

The Texas film festival centers on science fiction, horror and fantasy films. Gibson made a surprise appearance at a screening of “Apocalypto” in Okalahoma last week wearing a disguise of a mask and wig to go unrecognized.

Gibson made comments that suggested that the Mayan civilization and the United States have a lot in common. Gibson said, “The precursors to a civilization that’s going under are the same, time and time again.” He also said, “What’s human sacrifice if not sending guys off to Iraq for no reason?”

Us Magazine reported that Gibson also said jokingly, “I just wanna draw the parallels. I don’t wanna be a doomsayer, but the Mayan calendar ends in 2012. So have fun, boys and girls!”
