The sequel to “Jackass” topped the North American chart this weekend at theaters. The film, staring Johnny Knoxville and his friends, grossed about $28.1 million, according to Exhibitor Relations Co. Inc.

“Jackass Number Two” cost only $11 million to make and is a favorite among young males. It beat out all of the other serious movies this weekend including Jet Li’s “Fearless” which grossed $10.6 million.

Knoxville’s new movie is full of the outrageous stunts that made his first movie popular. Number Two beat out the First Jackass movie’s opening weekend back in 2002. The gross back then was $22.8 million. Associated Press reports that males accounted for two-thirds of the movie's audience, with 71 per cent of the crowd younger than 25.

Angelina Jolie will play her dream role as Dagney Taggart in the up-coming film “Atlas Shrugged” written by the late Ayn Rand. “Atlas Shrugged”, perhaps the most famous book written by Rand, is a tale of a no-nonsense railroad executive named Dagney Taggart who strives to keep her company alive despite a society falling towards collectivism.

Rand’s novels are extremely long, and “Atlas Shrugged” is no exception. Another one of Rand’s books was made into a movie while she was alive. “The Fountainhead”, staring Gary Cooker and Patricia Neal was released in 1949. Like “The Fountainhead”, there is a long speech made by the hero. In the book “Atlas Shrugged” the speech is made by John Galt. A famous line repeated over and over again in the book is “Who is John Galt?”

Foul Play may have been involved in the death of Anna Nicole Smiths son Daniel, according to a private forensic pathologist hired by the reality TV star to perform the second autopsy. Smith hired Cyril Wecht, who gained fame as a critic of the government’s probe into the John F. Kennedy's assassination and as a consultant in the investigation of Elvis Presley's death.

According to a report from the Associated Press, Daniel “was delighted. He was happy to be there with his mother and his sister." The coroner in the first autopsy said there was no evidence of “suicidal overdose”.

Although Daniel was prescribed anti-depressants in the United States, both coroners / forensic pathologists are waiting for toxicology tests before making any determination. Both say the death was suspicious. Wecht has ruled-out several natural causes for Daniel’s death including heart disease, stroke or a "congenital anomaly."

After Willie Nelson’s tour bus was pulled over for a routine commercial vehicle inspection in Louisiana, the country singer was cited for possession of marijuana and “magic mushrooms.” The officers said that when the door to the bus was opened there was a powerful stench of marijuana.

The police found about a pound and a half in the tour bus early Monday morning. State police spokesperson, Willie Williams, said that there was enough for a felony charge. According to a report from Associated Press, since all inside the bus maintained the marijuana was theirs, and the pot was not packaged for resale, the police issued each a misdemeanor citation.
