(Best Syndication News) - PepsiCo (NYSE:PEP) announced a new partnership with Beyoncé. Beyoncé had promoted Pepsi products in 2002 and now the GRAMMY Award winning performer will be returning as their spokesperson. The new partnership will have the singer appearing in print and out-of-home advertisements. She will be part of the marketing materials found on store shelves and store displays and the singer will even will have her image displayed on cans of Pepsi.
The collaboration between Beyoncé and Pepsi will involve the establishment of a Creative Development Fund. This fund will be set aside for the co-creation of original and pertinent consumer content.
Beyoncé will have her image displayed on Pepsi cans or bottles, and she will also be working with the company on the design of all marketing materials involved in their partnership.

(Best Syndication News) - Netflix subscribers will be able to see the Disney theatrical films during the same period as Pay TV customers starting in 2016. Netflix (Nasdaq: NFLX) announced the multi-year agreement with The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) today.
The new licensing agreement will commence in 2013 with high-profile Disney direct-to-video new-releases that will be made available on Netflix. Starting in 2016, theatrically released feature films from Disney, Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios, and Disneynature will become available to view on Netflix on their streaming “Watch Instantly” service at the same time Premium Pay TV gets to air the film. The streaming will be allowed on televisions, tablets, computers, and mobile phones.

(Best Syndication News) - Shania Twain kicked off a Las Vegas show called Shania: Still The One this weekend. The new show will be held at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace. The December 1, 2012 sold-out debut performance was the start the singer’s two-year residency in sin city.
To make Shania Twain’s grand entrance, she rode horseback on the Las Vegas Strip to the Caesars Palace fountains where she greeted her fans.
Because the shows have be selling out so quickly, 12 more shows were added to the schedule between May 14 and June 1, 2013. Tickets for these new shows will go on sale starting Friday, December 14, 2012 at 10 a.m. (Pacific Standard Time).

(Best Syndication News) - Columbia Records will be releasing Glee: The Music, The Christmas Album Vol. 3 on December 11, 2012. Six of the songs on the album will be performed on the holiday episode on FOX’s "GLEE" TV show, which will air on December 13.
In addition to the songs being featured on the TV show, the album will contain four more songs that were recorded exclusively for the album release. The extra songs are "Joy To The World," "Silent Night," “I'll Be Home For Christmas,” and “Happy Xmas.”

(Best Syndication News) - Samsung and LG HDTV sets have been recognized for being the most energy efficient units currently on the market. The Super-efficient Equipment and Appliance Deployment (SEAD) awarded the first-ever SEAD Global Efficiency Medal to Samsung and LG for some of their HDTV sets.
SEAD is an initiative to encourage governments and the private sector to develop and deploy energy efficient products. On their website, SEAD states that they were first introduced at the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change - a December 2009 conference held in Copenhagen - by U.S. Secretary of Energy Steven Chu and Indian Environmental Minister Jairam Ramesh.
