Amazon adds more Movie Titles to Prime Instant Video

(Best Syndication News) - A new agreement between EPIX and Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN), will help AMZN show more titles in the Prime Instant Video library. Movies include popular new releases such as The Avengers, Iron Man 2, The Hunger Games, Super 8, Thor and more.

The multi-year agreement reached with EPIX will add thousands more titles for Prime Instant Video subscribers. Movies from Paramount Pictures, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures, and Lionsgate will be included from this licensing agreement. Some more titles being added are Transformers Dark of the Moon Rango, Kick Ass, Paranormal Activity 2, True Grit, The Lincoln Lawyer, and Justin Bieber Never Say Never.

ABC Fall Lineup of New TV series Premiering this September

(Best Syndication News) The 2012 fall TV season is upon us, which means that new primetime shows will be broadcast starting this September. ABC has announced their schedule for the fall season, and they have quite an interesting mix of comedies, dramas, and action TV series being introduced this year. Most of the new shows will premiere during the last week of September. However, TV show premieres will continue until November 2.

A mysterious show called 666 Park Avenue has actor Terry O'Quinn (who played John Locke from Lost) and actress, Vanessa Williams, from Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives, star in the new TV series. The TV show grants wishes for people, but at a price. The premiere of 666 Park Avenue will be on September 30 at 10 pm (PT/ET)/ 9pm (CT).

New TV Series premiering this Fall Season on NBC

(Best Syndication News) - There will be several new NBC TV shows premiering this Fall season, starting the day after Labor Day. The daytime talk shows will start before the primetime shows. This year NBC is bringing new talk shows, sitcoms, a new science fiction show, and a new drama to their fall lineup.

One new daytime TV show Steve Harvey will be their new one-hour daytime talk show. He will interview real people and bring his comedy to make us chuckle. His show will also enlighten and motivate viewers on subjects including romance, marriage, finances, and more.

Another daytime talk show The Jeff Probst Show will be aired on NBC networks. Probst is best known as being the host of Survivor.

SONY unveils new 84-inch XBR 4K TV set with Four Times the Resolution than 1080p HDTV

(Best Syndication News) - Today, SONY unveiled their newest XBR 4K TV set at their San Diego headquarters. The large 84-inch display (measured diagonally) is an LED panel television set that is capable of delivering four times the resolution compared to the HDTV sets currently on the market. The XBR-84X900 TV set will also be Internet capable and 3D.

The 4K resolution is 3840 x 2160 pixels. The set can display that resolution so long as the source can send that resolution. The signal is sent through a single HDMI cable. With this TV set, consumers will be able to enjoy digital still photos from their cameras displayed at the 4K resolution on the large screen display. If the 4K resolution becomes the new standard, more devices and broadcasts with the higher resolution will become available.

First Interplanetary Music Broadcast with Will.i.am's song ‘Reach For The Stars (Mars Edition)’

(Best Syndication News) - The first ever song was sent from NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) to Mars and back again to Earth earlier today. There were 53 high school students from the i.am College Track Center, VIP guests, NASA and JPL officials, and Curiosity mission members present when the Will.i.am’s song “Reach for the Stars (Mars Edition)” was sent and received. The special event also paid tribute to the recent passing of legendary Astronaut Neil Armstrong, who made history by being the first man to walk on the Moon.

A video message from NASA Administrator Charles Bolden was played. He suggested students study science, technology, engineering and math (STEM). "Mars has always fascinated us, and the things Curiosity tells us about it will help us learn about whether or not life was possible there," Bolden said. "And what future human explorers can expect. will.i.am has provided the first song on our playlist of Mars exploration."
