(Best Syndication News) - The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the voluntary recall of HeathCo’s motion security lights that were sold exclusively at Home Depot Stores nationwide. The lights’ internal wiring could have became damaged when they were installed, when the lights were adjusted, or when the bulb was replaced. The damaged wire could cause an electric shock.

The company has not received any reports of consumer complaints on this product and no injuries were reported.

Neiman Marcus Stores add Discover Credit Card Payments

(Best Syndication News) - Discover Financial Services (NYSE: DFS) announced that retailer, Neiman Marcus, added Discover credit cards as a payment method at their stores. Additionally, Bergorf Goodman stores located in Manhattan will start accepting Discover cards.

Discover started working with the retailer in January when Neiman Marcus became a Discover Cashback Bonus partner. This gave cardholders a way to redeem their reward dollars for Neiman Marcus gift cards that could be used at their stores and their website.

By adding Discover credit cards as a payment method, these cardholders can earn Cashback Bonus rewards by shopping at Neiman Marcus, and then turn those dollars into a gift card to use at the store again during another shopping trip.

SkilSaw branded Miter Saws recalled for Safety Guard Replacement

(Best Syndication News) - A recall of SkilSaw branded Miter Saws was announced today by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on behalf of Robert Bosch Tool Corporation. The recall is for a lower safety guard that could break off and pose a laceration danger to the user. No injuries were reported to the company in regards to this recall. Bosch is offering owners of the miter saw a free lower replacement guard kit to remedy the problem.

The miter saws were sold at Lowe’s Home Centers nationwide and also at OC Tanner. The tools were sold between January 2012 and April 2012.

(Best Syndication News) - The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced the voluntary recall of around 2.3 million Flushmate III Pressure-Assist Flushing System units because they could burst under pressure. The release of pressure could cause the tank lid to lift, and the tank to possibly shatter.

The manufacturer has received 304 reports of the Series 503 Flushmate II Pressure-Assist Flushing units bursting. Consumers reported property damage, and 14 people were injured from impact or laceration injuries from the product bursting.

The problem with this particular unit is the weld seam near the vessel can burst when pressure is stored in the unit.
