dashboard - BSN

(Best Syndication News) - Chevrolet demonstrated how paying attention to how you drive and maintain your vehicle could add up to $100 per month in savings by reducing the amount of gasoline a vehicle uses. They had two people drive the same Chevrolet Cruze LTs cars on a city and highway route for 20 minutes that even had them stop for coffee. The Chevrolet CruzeLT vehicles have an EPA estimate of 24 mpg city, and 36 mpg highway.

One driver had showed an average of 37 mpg while the other driver showed only 21 mpg. For each gas tank refill, there would be 250 miles less for the person that only had 21 mpg. Chevrolet said that could add up to $100 per month if a person paid $4 per gallon for gasoline. They said that was based on a 15,000 annual miles driven and it would accumulated to a $1,200 yearly savings.
