Las Vegas Strip Famous Landmark Picture Plaque Unframed

[Best Syndication] Stardust Casino was imploded last night on March 13th, to make way for Boyd Gaming Corporation’s $4.4 billion mega-resort and casino, Echelon. The implosion of the old Stardust casino was given the final farewell with a spectacular firework show with a countdown displayed on the side of the 32 stories of old gutted hotel rooms just before the hotel crumbled down upon itself. The Las Vegas Strip has changed dramatically in the last 10 years and this will further change the history of Las Vegas.

The Stardust was a 48 year old hotel and casino that during its time, was considered the best in luxury and style for vacationers. It was the largest casino in Nevada and had the largest swimming pool in the state. It was also the largest hotel in the Las Vegas area when it opened at 12:00pm on July 2, 1958. The casino was built by Tony Cornero who died in 1955 and didn’t see the construction through to completion.

DUBAI PALM
The Palm Island Dubai will officially be handed over at the end of May 2007. The much anticipated delivery has been wrought with speculation as to the reasoning for its many delays.

The delays have resulted from such an ambitious project being completed in an initial timeframe that was more based on hope than on engineering possibilities.

Although the delays have no doubt caused concern for the 2,700 homeowners the trade off has been offset in the Palm Villa appreciation prices which have seen rises from 150-200%.

Early estimates point to annual leases for Garden Homes on the Palm starting at 450,000 AED per year or what would now be an 8% yield or a 17% yield on initial purchase prices. Signature Villas are projected to rent at 700,000 a 16% yield on initial purchase price.

Dubai's unprecedented rise in the world of trade and commerce and tourism is largely due to the hardworking expatriate community living there. Up to eighty percent of the city's population is estimated to be made up by the Europeans, Indians, Pakistanis, Sri Lankans, East Asians and people from many other regions of the whole world. They have been the main cause why Dubai has had unparalleled growth in the world of commerce for the last several decades.

This presence of outsiders however, often leads to many social issues taking place and the matter being fiercely debated across various social strata. Among these comes the issue of Dubai's bachelors who are always over the barrel and under a constant demand for being segregated from the rest of the community. However, not only does it require a herculean effort for accomplishing any such segregation, but it also calls for the basic human rights of the singles being taken into due consideration by the authorities.

Beaches in Costa Rica, like jaco, may well be one of the most important assets in the eyes of visitors. The beaches come in all sizes, shapes and types.

One of the most known beaches is called Jaco.

Jaco is one of the first beaches to become a real tourist magnet. It is also one of the closest beaches to San Jose.

The beach itself is a three km long beach with nice sand and the water is inviting. However, as always when swimming in the sea, check out current riptides as well as keep an eye on the tide.
