Free Google Chromebooks with Wi-Fi Internet on select Virgin America Flights now through September 30

(Best Syndication News) - Virgin America announced that they are working with Google Inc. to offer travelers on their flights a Google Chromebook with free Wi-Fi access. The Virgin America customers will be able to check out a Chromebook during their departure at the airport gate.

With the checked out Chromebook the travelers on Virgin America will be able to get free Wi-Fi access during the flight so they can browse the Internet at 35,000 feet. To check-out a Chromebook the customer needs to swipe their credit card for deposit purposes only, and when the notebooks is returned as specified by the airlines, no charges will occur. The free Chromebook and WiFi service offer is available at SFO and DFW, ORD or BOS airports.

Southwest Airlines offers discounted Airfare Sale going on through July 14

(Best Syndication News) - Southwest Airlines started their ‘Countdown to Savings’ Airfare Sale that is going on between July 5, and July 14, 2011. The airfare sale is for travel between August 23, 2011 and December 14, 2011. Advertised airfare prices are as low as $59 one-way.

The discounted flights are available every day except for Fridays and Sundays. Southwest has blackout dates for the sale, which is September 1 - September 5, and November 17 - November 29, 2011. Southwest said that travel for this sale is not available to/from Albany, NY; Charleston, SC; Washington (Dulles), D.C.; New York (LaGuardia), NY; Ft. Myers, FL. Seats are limited and the cost of the flights can vary depending on the day of the week and on busy holiday travel periods. Extra fees and taxes are not included in the advertised sale prices.

AirTran offers Discount Airfare Sale going on now through July 14

(Best Syndication News) - AirTran Airways announced their ‘Fares That Fit Your Budget Sale,’ which offers discounted flight tickets for travel between August 23, 2011 and December 14, 2011. Tickets must be purchased between July 5, 2011 and July 14, 2011 to get the sale priced flights.

The flights are for one-way travel and AirTran does not require any round-trip or overnight stays. AirTran Airways is now owned by Southwest Airlines, but is still operating under a separate brand name. Their partner, SkyWest Airlines, provides some of the flights.

The airfare sale prices are available for travel days of Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Blackout travel dates are September 1-5, 2011 and November 17-29, 2011. Travel between Milwaukee and Indianapolis, Omaha, Pittsburgh or St. Louis are only until September 5, 2011.

For this sale, travel must occur between August 23, 2011 and December 14, 2011. Discounted flight tickets are on sale for travel on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Blackout days are September 1-5, 2011, and November 17-29, 2011. Travel between Milwaukee and Indianapolis, Omaha, Pittsburgh or St. Louis, must be completed by September 5, 2011.

AirTran Airfare sale going on now through June 28

(Best Syndication News) - AirTran Airways launched an airfare sale, which started on June 14 and will end on June 28, 2011. AirTran is still operating flights under their brand, even though it is now part of Southwest Airlines. Flights are being discounted for all destinations that AirTran services. The airfare sale, "Get Some Sand in Your Suit" does not require round-trip purchase and all flights are advertised with one-way rates.

Flights need to be booked 10 days in advance of the travel date. Most locations must be traveled between June 25, 2011, through November 15, 2011. Some exceptions are for Aruba, Montego Bay, Nassau/Paradise Island, and San Juan, which travel must be completed between August 20, 2011, through November 15, 2011.
