(Best Syndication News) - There has been a voluntary recall announced today by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) for some of Toshiba's Satellite T Series notebook computers. The laptop computers are being recalled because they could overheat at the AC adapter plug-in jack and could potentially burn the user. Toshiba has received reports of 129 notebook computers overheating which has caused the cases to deform it. Two people were burned that did not require medical treatment.

The Toshiba notebook recall includes around 41,000 units that were distributed worldwide. The models involved are the Satellite T135, Satellite T135D and Satellite ProT130 Notebook Computers. The computers have the model number and name printed on the label on the bottom of the laptop computer system.

This new calling feature is now available for those that have a Gmail account in the United States. Google is said that they are offering free telephone calls in the US and Canada, at least for the rest of this year. Google will be charging low rates for international calls, which they say are as low as 2 cents per minute. Basically you can make free phone calls over the Internet.

    It may take a couple of days to roll out to all US Gmail users. You will find the “Call Phones” in the chat list on the left side when you sign into your Gmail account. In order to get the free phone calls, you need to have the voice and video plug-in installed. To get these plug-ins please visit gmail.com/call. That is where you can get the free download to the plug-ins you will need to install on your computer. This will allow you to make voip free phone calls through your Gmail account.

    (Best Syndication News) - Vonage has announced a mobile phone app for Facebook. The new Vonage software app for mobile phones lets users make free calls from their cellphone to all of their Facebook friends who also have the Vonage app.

    The Vonage app is free to download and is free to use says the company. The mobile phone app works on the Apple iPhone, Apple iPod touch and Google Android based phones. The free Vonage app works over Wi-Fi, and 3G and 4G networks in most countries.

    The app has all of your Facebook friends and when you want to call them with Vonage, all you do is pick the name in the Vonage app. You don't have to dial any numbers, and you will also see a status update on the screen for your Facebook friends. The mobile phone will ring even when the application is closed so you can still receive phone calls from your friends calling through Vonage's Voip app.
